August 2021, MMC UAV was officially approved by the Ministry of Natural Resources of the People’s Republic of China as one of “The Key Laboratories For Marine Intelligent Perception and Applications In China’s South-East Coastal Areas”, which was also the ONLY key laboratory that is built on the latest UAV-based digital marine technologies.
Given the natural geographic advantage of being located in the southeast coastal area, MMC UAV’s key laboratory will carry out theoretical and technical research on the information perception of the marine ecosystem, marine element prediction model, and multi-scale biological system construction, which are helpful for the laboratory itself to complete its studies of the isolation of ecological, marine elements, low informatization problems among marine systems prediction and low-level of artificial predication intervention, etc.
